THE ROLE

I'm Laura, the founder. I handle strategy and client relationships. What I need is someone who can execute technical implementations without hand-holding.

This is a specialist role focused on GoHighLevel, Kajabi, and technical integrations. You'll work directly with me and our team to build and maintain the systems our clients rely on.

Here's what happened: I've hired three people for this role in the past year. All three were let go due to poor communication and inconsistent work quality. I'm being extremely clear about expectations this time.

Primary responsibilities:

GoHighLevel:

  • Campaign setup and automation

  • Workflow configuration

  • CRM management and troubleshooting

Kajabi:

  • Course setup and maintenance

  • Membership site configuration

  • Email sequence implementation

Technical Integration:

  • Flodesk email platform management

  • Zapier automation creation and maintenance

  • DNS and domain management across hosting platforms

  • Cross-platform integrations and troubleshooting

As you grow into the role (within 3-6 months):

  • Leading team coordination independently

  • Creating SOPs based on established processes

  • Identifying bottlenecks and suggesting solutions

  • Client success management

  • Potentially hiring and training additional team members

Systems Maintenance:

  • Backend website management

  • Client portal setup and maintenance

  • Technical documentation

  • Proactive system monitoring and optimization


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

30 days in:

  • You're handling technical tasks independently with minimal questions

  • You've documented your processes for common tasks

  • You respond to urgent technical issues within 2 hours during business days

  • The team trusts you to fix problems without creating new ones

90 days in:

  • You're identifying and solving technical issues before they affect clients

  • You've optimized at least 2-3 existing automations or systems

  • You're suggesting improvements based on what you're seeing

  • Your documentation is detailed enough that someone else could replicate your work

6 months in:

  • You're the go-to expert for all technical implementations

  • Clients and team members trust your judgment on technical decisions

  • You're training other team members on technical processes

  • You're ready for increased responsibility and hours as we grow


YOU'RE THE RIGHT PERSON IF:

You're a technical expert, not a generalist
You have deep knowledge of GoHighLevel and Kajabi. You've actually built complex automations, not just edited templates.

You communicate clearly and proactively
You respond to Slack messages within 24 hours on business days. You flag problems before they become emergencies. You ask questions when you're unclear instead of guessing.

You document without being asked
You create clear SOPs because you know it saves everyone time. You don't gatekeep information.

You troubleshoot independently
You can Google, search help docs, and solve 80% of issues on your own. You know when to escalate and when to handle it yourself.

You take ownership of your work
When something breaks, you fix it. When you make a mistake, you own it and correct it. No excuses, no deflecting.

You can handle direct feedback
I'll tell you what's working and what's not. You don't get defensive - you use feedback to improve.

You're available during business hours
You're consistently reachable Monday through Friday for urgent technical issues. I don't care when you do the actual work, but you need to be responsive.


REQUIRED SKILLS

Must have:

  • 2+ years as a technical VA or operations specialist

  • Expert-level GoHighLevel proficiency

  • Expert-level Kajabi proficiency

  • Experience with DNS management and domain configuration

  • Experience with email platforms and automation tools

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Proven ability to work independently

Nice to have (or willing to learn quickly):

  • Flodesk experience

  • Zapier automation experience

  • Marketing agency or coaching business experience

  • Client-facing technical support experience
